Paradise falls is a very special place and fiercely protected by locals. If you visit, PLEASE follow leave no trace.

The hike to this waterfall is short, but requires one stream crossing and traversing down a steep slope with the help of ropes that have been placed. Unless your dog is used to hiking off leash and very agile, I do not recommend bringing them on this.

Additionally, please do not visit during a dam release (typically 7 am or 5 pm). Shoot for mid day and NEVER visit during a rainfall as the water level can rise quickly.

If you visit, DO NOT LITTER. I pick up trash here every time I visit and it is very disheartening to see people be so disrespectful to nature. Bring a bag, pick up some trash, and leave it better than you found it.

Swimming is common here and the water is very refreshing on a hot summer day. Don't be surprised if you see people in the nude as there are signs noting that this is legal (I cannot confirm whether this is true or not).

The lot for this is just a large gravel space on the side of the road. During the weekend it fills up quickly with locals.
