I love coming to this beach because it's a little bit secluded and off the beaten path, located between Cape Town and Hout Bay. It's a quiet cove surrounded by large boulders, which means it is often times not very windy. This also makes Oudekraal perfect for barbecuing – just bring coals and a grid and you're good to go as they have barbecue stations all around the area.
Since Oudekraal is located in a nature reserve, there is an entrance fee of R41 for adults is R41 and R26 for children.
