Reinebringen is a popular and somewhat challenging hike located in the Lofoten Islands of Norway. It is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains, fjords, and the small fishing village of Reine.

The hike is about 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) long and gains an elevation of 448 meters (1,470 feet) from the trailhead to the summit. It is considered a difficult hike due to its steep incline, rocky terrain, and exposed sections, but the views from the top are well worth the effort.

To access the trailhead, drive to the town of Reine and park at the Reine Viewpoint short term parking, which is located just before you enter town. From there, follow the signs and the well used trail from the parking lot along the coast to the trailhead. The hike begins with a steep climb up a staircase made of rocks and wooden planks. The trail then becomes less steep but remains rocky and uneven.

If you're feeling adventurous, the final section of the hike can involve scrambling up a steep trail, rocks and boulders to reach the true summit. However, most just stop at the natural overlook, which is family friendly and has an epic view. Although the hike can be challenging, it is well worth the effort for the incredible panoramic views.

You should also be aware of the weather conditions as they can change in an instant.

Overall, Reinebringen is a must-see destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts visiting the Lofoten Islands. Timing a great sunset or northern lights in the fall will make this adventure one for the memory books!
