Is a fantastic, short 4km walk following the river down through the woods. You get not one but two waterfalls as you head downstream, and as the river is mostly quite shallow there are loads of spots where you can stop for a paddle and a picnic, and there's a small play park at the car park.

LENGTH: 2.5-4km (4K for the full walk or you can just visit the first waterfall for a shorter loop.)
TIME it took us: 30mins - 1 hours with lots of stops for paddling and exploring
PARKING: Nant Mill car park £1 all day
TOILETS: at the car park, but I've never seen them open.
FOOD & DRINK: Bring a picnic - lots of picnic tables and spots to stop for a picnic and a paddle.

We park at Nant Mill Woods car park (LL11 3BT) for £1 all day. There are toilets but I've never seen them open
