Seacliff State Beach is an exciting destination for beach-goers near Aptos, California. Located off the coast of Santa Cruz county, visitors to this beach have access to various amenities and activities. The park is home to an historic concrete freighter, the SS Palo Alto, which has served as a protected marine habitat. Visitors can also enjoy a sandy beach perfect for sunbathing and swimming, as well as covered picnic areas and a visiting center. Fishing is allowed in designated areas (with a license) and outdoor enthusiasts can also take advantage of bike trails, hiking, geocaching, windsurfing and more. Dogs are welcome at the park with a leash no longer than 6 feet and all human visitors are encouraged to follow safe practices and follow posted rules and regulations.

Unfortunately due to major storms in early 2023, the iconic pier located at this beach and some of the surrounding area were demolished and will undergo repairs and remodeling. We strongly recommend checking the website below for up to date info before visiting.
