Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park is a stunning park located on the central California coast that offers visitors a range of activities to enjoy. Guests can explore the 115-foot lighthouse which has been in use since 1872 when lit at sunset, take guided tours of the park grounds to learn about its fascinating history, enjoy picnicking or swimming at the beach area, participate in fishing, windsurfing, and geocaching, and view wildlife in the intertidal zone.

The lighthouse may be closed for repairs but guests may still view the Fresnel lens in the Fog Signal Building, which is lit up every November for the Annual 151st Anniversary Celebration. Whether you're looking for an educational family outing or a solitude escape, Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park is sure to provide an unforgettable experience.

Entry and admission to this historic park is free.
