Humble Sea Brewing Co., started by three childhood friends from the Santa Cruz Mountains in 2015, has become a favorite in the craft beer scene. They’re best known for their creative brews like Foggy IPAs (what they call Hazy IPAs), rich pastry stouts, and barrel-aged beers. With their flagship spot on the west side of Santa Cruz, they’ve created a cozy space with indoor seating and a lively beer garden. They’ve also expanded to Alameda, Pacifica, and the Santa Cruz Wharf, keeping the good vibes and great beer flowing. Our favorite though is their Pacifica location: https://www.rexby.com/Smilkos_Lens/ttd/mOHdm73JQk2jgI_fs3Fx5w
Beyond the beer, Humble Sea is all about giving back. They’re big on supporting ocean conservation and human rights causes, regularly teaming up with local groups to raise funds and awareness. Brewing around 12,000 barrels a year, they’re not just the largest brewery in Santa Cruz County—they’re a real community favorite.
