The 1.5mi Waterfall Loop Trail in Uvas Canyon County Park is a popular hiking trail located in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Morgan Hill and Gilroy. It's renowned for its picturesque scenery, lush vegetation, and stunning waterfalls, making it a favorite destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
This area of the state can get quite dry during the summer and fall months, so we would recommend visiting during spring if possible to enjoy the lush greenery and flowing creek water.
Note: The looped trail has had some weather damage, so the second half of the trail has been closed, and it is now an out and back trail - but still same distance.
The drive to this park, is largely one lane roads, and near the entrance of the park you will be required to drive along a road that passes through a private area. Day-use timed reservations are also required because of this road and limited parking. You can book your timed entry here:
