Situated at an altitude of over 2,100 meters, this lodge is located on the shores of Shirakoma Pond, Japan's largest natural lake of its kind, surrounded by moss-covered virgin forest.

The lodge was expanded with a new building in 2017, bringing modern amenities alongside the original structure. Guests can even enjoy a hot bath during winter. In the summer, visitors can have lunch overlooking the pond or rent boats for a peaceful ride.
