Akigawa Keikoku Seoto-no-Yu Spa is a serene hot spring facility located in Akiruno City, Tokyo, nestled within the picturesque Akigawa Valley. The spa is renowned for its highly alkaline waters, which are celebrated for their skin-beautifying properties.

Facilities and Services:

  • Hot Spring Baths: The spa features both indoor and outdoor baths, allowing guests to enjoy the natural surroundings. The alkaline simple spring water, sourced from 1,500 meters underground, is known to leave the skin feeling smooth and rejuvenated.

  • Cottages: For those seeking an overnight stay, Seoto-no-Yu offers cottages with views of the Akigawa Valley and surrounding mountains. There are ten cottages in total, including two one-story barrier-free "deluxe type" cottages and eight two-story "maisonette type" cottages.

  • Dining: The on-site Japanese restaurant serves local fare, and there's an attached shop selling regional goods.

Operating Hours:

  • Hot Spring: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the last entry at 8:30 PM. Please note that the facility is closed on the second Wednesday of March, June, September, and December.

Admission Fees:

  • Bathing Fee (3 hours):

    • Adults (Junior high school students and older): 1,000 yen

Access:

  • By Train and Bus:

    • From JR Tachikawa Station, take the JR Ome Line to Musashi-Itsukaichi Station.

    • From Musashi-Itsukaichi Station, take a bus bound for Kamiyosawa via Seoto-no-Yu and alight at the Seoto-no-Yu stop (approximately a 17-minute ride).
