I've visited the Hanyu Parking Area (Southbound) in Saitama Prefecture many times, and it's one of the most interesting highway rest stops in Japan. The traditional designs and food make it a unique experience every time. It's definitely worth a visit if you're tired of driving and need a rest. Located on the Tohoku Expressway, this rest stop is known for its Edo period design and ninja shows on weekends, adding to the charm. Themed food and souvenirs inspired by the Edo era, including the famous "ippon udon" dish, make it a delightful stop.
