I stayed here in November 2024, and I have to say, this place is massive. It’s like its own little world, supposedly the size of 26 Tokyo Domes! If you’re into shopping and eating, this is a fun spot since they have food from all over Japan in one location. The onsen was lovely, and many rooms have private outdoor baths on the balcony, which makes for a really relaxing stay.
As for accommodations, HOTEL VISON offers a range of options: spacious hotel rooms with mountain views and private terraces, luxurious villas with open-air baths, and traditional Japanese hatago-style lodging. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or an active stay, HOTEL VISON has something for everyone to enjoy Japan’s natural beauty.
The only downside was the ESG factor—they seem to use a lot of electricity here, which feels a bit at odds with the concept of harmony with nature.
