During my hike to Mt. Norikura, I stayed at Norikuranoyado Ginreiso, and it turned out to be a great base for exploring the area. The lodge itself is a bit dated, but it’s convenient, with shops downstairs and decent food available on-site. The best part is the location—perfect for those looking to catch both the sunset and sunrise.
One of my favorite memories was waking up early and taking a short 15-minute walk to witness the sunrise. The night sky was stunning as well, with clear views of the stars. If you're planning to hike Mt. Norikura and want a simple, affordable place to stay that's close to all the action, Norikuranoyado Ginreiso is a solid choice. It’s cozy, with basic amenities like a hot bath, and the mountain views really make the experience special.
One concern is that booking is only accepted by phone: 0577-79-2026
