This is the ropeway to access hiking trails to Kita-Yatsugatake such as Tsuboniwa.
For winter hikes, you can rent snowshoes here. I have a YouTube video on the winter hike.
The Kitayatsugatake Ropeway is a scenic cable car ride located in the northern part of the Yatsugatake mountain range in Japan. It takes you from the base station at 1,771m to the summit station at 2,237m in just 7 minutes, offering breathtaking views of the changing mountain landscapes along the way. At the top, you'll find the Tsuboniwa Nature Park with its lush vegetation and stunning natural beauty.
