I stayed here when hiking Mt. Rishiri back in 2022. There are 2 sites.
The first is, Yuni Family Campsite.
Facilities and Fees:
Admission: Adults ¥520, Children/Handicapped ¥310 (per day for tent stays)
Cottages (5-person): ¥16,760 per night (includes shower, kitchen, and bedding)
Bungalows (4-6 people): ¥5,230 - ¥7,330 per night (includes power and bedding)
Tent Sites: Free tent area (approx. 40 spots), with admission fee only
Barbecue Corner: Free for use, includes grill and seating (up to 2 hours)
Amenities:
Cooking areas, accessible toilets, parking, playground, and rentals (tents, tarps, BBQ grill, etc.)
Consumables like charcoal, gas, and camping supplies available for purchase
No pets, fireworks, or generators allowed
Open Season: May 1 to October 31
Check-In/Out:
Check-in: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Check-out: by 10:00 AM
Access:
By Car: 5 minutes from Oshidomari Ferry Terminal or 10 minutes from Rishiri Airport.
By Bus: Local buses stop at the nearby hot spring resort.
The second is, Rishiri North Foot Campsite
Overview: Popular among hikers, this campsite is located near the Oshidomari trailhead for Mt. Rishiri. It's known for its serene forest environment and is perfect for those wanting to explore the natural beauty of Rishiri Island.
Facilities and Fees:
Cabins (4 people): ¥5,230 per night
Tent Site: ¥520 per person (children ¥310)
Car Site: ¥2,610 per car per night
Amenities: Parking, kitchen, toilets, administration building, simple shop
Open Season: May 15 to October 15
Access:
By Car: 10 minutes from Oshidomari Ferry Terminal
By Foot: 1-hour walk (approx. 4 km) from the ferry terminal
