Message from Tony Xia

Cheese cakes galore. My friend who lived in Kyoto brought me here saying this is where they go for cheese cake and tea. We had 5 types of cheese cakes and loved them all.

Message from Owner:

In 1985, I started a small restaurant in Kyoto, where I served my family's cheesecake as a dessert.

Word quickly spread about the authentic New York-style cheesecake, and in 1990, I opened Papa John's Café.

Since then, "Papa John's Cheesecake" has become a beloved treat, and I’m delighted that we can now share it with people all across Japan.

I hope you enjoy the taste of my hometown, New York, and the flavor of my mother’s recipe.
