When I used to work in Mie, this was our go-to spot with my coworkers—a hidden gem among locals and one of the best places for yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). If you’re a fan of BBQ and want a truly authentic experience, this place should be on your list! Just a heads-up: it gets quite smoky inside, which adds to the atmosphere but might surprise you if you’re not used to it.

This spot is famous for its delicious BBQ chicken, and I can’t recommend it enough—especially the Oya-Dori (mature chicken). The flavor and texture are unique and absolutely worth trying.
