This is one of the most scenic lake in the winter and one of the most activity friendly lake in the summer. You can swim to an island in the middle of the lake with a shrine!

Known for its year-round natural beauty, the lake offers a wide range of activities, from water sports in summer to snow-filled adventures in winter.

Summer Activities (June–October):

  • Water Sports: Enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, and wakeboarding on the calm lake waters.

  • Swimming: Designated swimming areas with crystal-clear water make it perfect for cooling off.

  • Fishing: Nojiri Lake is home to Japanese pond smelt (wakasagi) and bass, attracting fishing enthusiasts.
