This 2.6 mile hike is tough, but well worth the haul because the views are spectacular. I did this hike for sunset and it was beautiful, BUT I think it would be even better for sunrise based on the location and where the lookout spot faces. There looked like there was some recent controlled burning in the area and there's some weird caution tape that it looks like someone put up, but I did research it and nothing online indicates it's closed. This is near bear territory so please exercise caution and definitely carry bear spray if you are doing a golden hour hike!
