Lake Ghedina is a beautiful lake located at the foot of the Tofane mountains, near Cortina d'Ampezzo. It's actually two lakes, and you can even visit the Ghedina Hut on the shore of the larger one.

🥾Length : 7km 🕚 Time: 2hrs 30mins

Take the Tofane cableway to Col Drusciè station and hike down to the lake. Exit the top station downhill towards Pié Tofana , following the trail until you reach the junction with trail n° 410, on your right, and take this trail. Carry along the edge of Lake In Po’ Druscié, (a small heart-shaped lake) you will be amidst trees and Tofane mountain views , a spectacular view on your left. After the intersection with track n° 409, stay on track n° 410, descending in the ever-thicker forest until you reach the magical Lake Ghedina.

🚍By Bus- Take a bus from Cortina to Fiàmes and then follow a road that leads to the lake.

🚗By car- The Freccia nel Cielo cable car is very close to the town centre, and it can be reached by following the signs for the Ice Stadium, Stadio del Ghiaccio. There is a large car park outside the lower cable car station.

🍴I recommend you stop at the Lago Ghedina lakeside restaurant. It offers a beautiful location for lunch on the lake-view terrace or in the interior dining-rooms with their traditional decor.
