Mooraculum Sörenberg is a fantastic alpine playground and theme trail located in the alps west of Lucerne. It's the perfect place for kids to have fun while also learning about the moor, an important natural habitat that is sadly disappearing.

What to do there

The playground offers a wide range of activities including water play, swings, slides, climbing structures, and obstacle courses. There's even a scavenger hunt where kids can win prizes.

If you have little kids learning to hike, you'll love the easy 1.4 km loop theme trail with 18 interactive stations that keep the kids interested while they walk.

Great for kids aged 2 - 12.

How to get there

This playground is located at the top of the Sörenberg-Rössweid gondola - Hinter-Schöniseistrasse 4, 6174 Sörenberg

Bus stop: Sörenberg, Post, about 1h20 from Lucerne.

By car: Metered parking at cable car station. About 1h drive from Lucerne on two lane country roads.

Tickets

You'll need a return ticket on the gondola. If you plan to ride the scooters down later, then only a one way ticket.

You can buy cable car tickets online or at the ticket office on-site. Bikes and dogs are allowed but need a ticket (small fee).

Free with Lucerne Tell Pass. Discount with Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Half Fare Card.
