While St. Cousair Winery & Vineyards is... a winery and vineyard, it also has a super nice restaurant and I went here for my birthday this year!

The set menu was great and very affordable for the quality and presentation. The best part for me has to be that this venue is situated at the top of a hill with district views from.

Tip: I would recommend visiting for lunch to make the most of the views plus save a little money on the lunch menu.

Inside the store is a variety of local produce from Nagano including a bunch of alcohol. The flavors of wine that is produced might be a little sweeter than you are used to but it is worth a try. The have other alcohol besides wine as well as snacks with two areas in the store - one are is international themed and the other is Japanese.

Tip: you can get a handful of free samples at a tasting counter.

There is also a chapel for weddings in case you need one.
