The Pont de Bir-Hakeim, formerly the Pont de Passy, is a historical bridge crossing the Seine in Paris. Located at the northern point of Île aux Cygnes, the bridge offers spectacular views of the river and surrounding cityscape to passersby. Constructed between 1903 and 1905, the steel arch bridge has two levels: one for motor vehicles and pedestrians, the other for the Paris Metro Line 6. It is 237 metres long and 24.7 metres wide - making it one of the grandest and most impressive bridges in the city! The bridge's central arch proudly displays the statue La France renaissante, while its railway viaduct features monuments dedicated to soldiers fallen in World War II. The stunning Pont de Bir-Hakeim is an essential landmark in the French capital, always beautiful and buzzing with activity day or night.
