Trail Length: 2.6 miles out and back Hike difficulty: Strenuous Elevation gain: 1,167 ft

AllTrails rates this as moderate, but it's definitely difficult due to the near-constant uphill climb.

To get here, park in the parking lot to Giant Mountain via The Ridge Trail, just off Route NY73. From there, follow Ridge Trail past Giant's Washbowl to reach the Nubble Trail. This trail leads by an overlook of the Giant Washbowl and before you arrive at the Nubble.

There's an outhouse at the trail head.

The best times to visit this trail are March through October. The trail is open in the winter, but make sure you have proper winter hiking gear and microspikes.

The parking area is small and only fits about 15-ish cars. The parking lot fills up extremely fast, especially in the summer/fall and on weekends. If the parking lot is full, try one of these nearby hikes.
