Taste some of New Yorks finest wines in a relaxed, casual setting.

The Seneca Lake Wine Trail consists of over 27 wineries located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region in New York State, one of the premier cool-climate wine growing regions in the world, particularly recognized for its Riesling.

Each winery offers its own unique take on the region's wine-making traditions. It's known for the breadth and diversity of its offerings, with vineyards producing a wide range of varietals from crisp whites like Riesling and Gewürztraminer to robust reds like Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. There are also wineries making everything from sparkling wines to dessert wines, so there's really something for every palate.

Many of the wineries on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail host events throughout the year, like the popular Polar Passport and Wine Weekday Passport programs, which give you a discount on tasting packages. Check out the Winery Events calendar to learn more.

**These are a few of the most popular wineries along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail: **

  • Wagner Vineyards for a wide range of wines, a brewery, and Ginny Lee Cafe for lunch

  • Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars for award-winning Rieslings

  • Fox Run Vineyards for a range of wine tasting options and a cafe serving locally-sourced fare

  • Ravines Wine Cellars for dry, European-style wines

  • Anthony Road Wine Company for their Artisan Series wines

NOTE: Many wineries are seasonal or only open on weekends. If you’re planning a visit to the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, check their “Current Winery Offerings” page before you go for updated hours of operations, tasting protocols, and more info.
