Maimai Shisa is a store located in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture, where visitors can make and paint their own incredibly cute Shisa (lion statues), believed to ward off evil and bring good luck. Different types of Shisa can be created, from single/pair figures to family, wedding and more. Visitors can enjoy Shisa making experiences from 1 year-old upwards, as well as painting - prices start from 1,650 yen. Maimai Shisa offers an enjoyable activity for all the family, with visitors able to take away the perfect piece of Okinawan art when they're done.
