Kanazawa Castle is an iconic historic site in Japan. It is located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa prefecture and was former headquarters of the Maeda Clan for hundreds of years. The ruins of the castle remain and people can still explore it's majestic past by walking about it's grounds, viewing the stone walls of different eras which were constructed using various techniques including the sophisticated mosaic style. The castle is full of interesting history and offers beautiful views of the surrounding moat and gardens from the turrets. Visitors can even enter three of the reconstructed buildings for an in depth look at the castle's architecture, and learn more about the masterpieces used to protect it. There is something magical about the castle that can be felt by wandering its vast grounds, and visitors should not miss the chance to experience it.

Admission fees for Hishiyagura Turret, Gojukken Nagaya Warehouse, and Hashizume-mon Tsuzuki Yagura Turret.
