Titlis is is the highest peak north of the Susten Pass. and is an incredible mountain in Switzerland that visitors of all ages and abilities can enjoy. The views here is extremely majestic and spectacular, with panoramic views of the Rhaetian, Bernese, and Valais Alps, it won’t disappoint!
Personally, I find Titlis more attractive to visit during the winter season, due to the variety of snow sports you can do here: You can sign up for ski/snowboarding classes with the ski-school, snowshoe, sledding and much more. However, if you are planning a trip here during summer, there are also a range of attractions such as the thrilling Tissot Cliff Walk, and the enchanting Ice Palace! If you have missed the one in Jungfraujoch, this is your next best alternative for an icy winter experience.
To go to Titlis, you will need to take the train from Lucerne train station to Engelberg. From Engelberg, you will then transfer by cablecar to Stand, followed by the Titlis Rotair (the world's first revolving aerial cableway) to Titlis. The whole journey takes about 1 hour 20 minutes.
Ticket Prices from Engelberg-Titlis (Return):
72 CHF (Full-fare) 48CHF (with Swiss Travel Pass, Half-Fare Card)
