Open: daily year round • every 30 mins • live status
Location: departs from Lauterbrunnen train station
To reach your hotel or hikes near Wengen
If you are staying in Lauterbrunnen, Wengen or Mürren, it's a faster way to reach Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg or Jungfraujoch, instead of first traveling to Grindelwald to use the gondolas there.
For a beautiful scenic mountain journey (no hiking required)
The ticket cost depends on how far up the mountain you are traveling and if you are only going one way or round trip. If you are unsure, go to the ticket office and explain what you want to do and they will sell you the correct ticket.
Discounts:
Free with Jungfrau Travel Pass
50% off with Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Half Fare Card

In addition, the section from Lauterbrunnen - Wengen is free Swiss Travel Pass, Berner Oberland Pass, SBB Day Pass and GA.
You can purchase tickets on the SBB Mobile App, SBB.ch as well as ticket machines and ticket office at the train station.
