The Panorama trail hike from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg is a popular and breathtaking trail in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland. This easy, mostly downhill walk offers stunning views of the Grindelwald Valley and the majestic peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
Note: In June 2024, this trail is temporarily closed because of damage from a landslide. Check trail status here.
It's perfect for families, those with limited time, or anyone who wants a beautiful scenery with minimal effort. The trail is well-marked and can be done in about 1.5 hours, making it an ideal choice for a short, memorable hike.

If you want to continue hiking after reaching Kleine Scheidegg, you can connect with the Eiger trail or Via Alpina trail that leads to Wengen.
You can get to the trail start with a gondola ride from Grindelwald Terminal (Grundstrasse 54, 3818 Grindelwald) to Männlichen. Or from Lauterbrunnen, you can ride a mountain train to Wengen, then a cable car to Männlichen.
The trail ends at Kleine Scheidegg where you can take a mountain train back to Lauterbrunnen, Wengen or Grindelwald.
The mountain railways cost about CHF 58-64 depending on where you start and end.
These cable cars are free with the Jungfrau Travel Pass and Berner Oberland Pass. Discounted with Swiss Travel Pass, SBB GA and Half-fare.
