Babu's Bakery and Coffeehouse is a cute, cozy cafe with delicious pastries, cakes, and tasty savory snacks.

Their new location near Zurich Bellevue (Stadelhofen train station) is convenient. But we prefer their adorable Löwenstrasse cafe. But it's very popular, often with a long wait on weekends and lunchtime. You can only reserve if you book their brunch "etagere" tea service. If you want to order à la carte, just go early and wait in line.

I always get their fresh ginger tea and scones with cream and jam. But I also love their carrot cake and lemon poppyseed cake. I'll often go home with one of their baguettes for dinner later.
