H. Schwarzenbach is a specialty food shop selling a variety of gourmet products including: freshly roasted coffee beans, premium teas, artisanal chocolates, unique spices, sun-ripened dried fruits and much more. It's a well-known Zurich institution with a long history stretching back to 1864.

Even if you don't need anything, it's fun to visit just to see the beautiful products and vintage space. Although it can feel intimidating to order from the quick moving no-nonsense staff, we recommend treating yourself to a few delicacies. We always get their dried blueberries and sour cherries and often buy the beautiful fruit teas as gifts.

For chocolate, visit their space next door with a much larger selection and more relaxing atmosphere.
