This panorama trail is one of the easiest in the Jungfrau Region, traversing the mountain above the Lauterbrunnen valley. You reach the trail with a cable car. Then you walk on a wide, path that parallels the mountain train tracks, leading to Mürren.
This trail is easy walking, suitable for all abilities. The path is obstacle-free, making it suitable for strollers and those with limited mobility that need a smooth surface for walking. It has minimal elevation gain, so good for non-hikers and those with knee problems.
The trail starts at Grütschalp (top of cable car) and ends in the Mürren village.
Stats: easy • 1h30 one way • 4.4km • 150m up

Along the way, you'll pass through Winteregg, where you'll find a restaurant and toilets. This is also a station for the Mürren mountain train. So if you are tired, you can ride the rest of the way to Mürren instead of walk.
💡Tip: This is also a winter trail, where the snow is groomed with machine for easy walking.
After the walk, you have a lot of options:
families: ride funicular train to Allmendhubel playground and restaurant
even bigger views: ride cable car up to Schilthorn viewpoint and Birg Thrill Walk
waterfall: ride a cable car down to Stechelberg and bus through Lauterbrunnen valley to Trümmelbach Falls
short day: ride the mountain train back to Grütschalp and cable car down to Lauterbrunnen.
Your ticket depends on your starting and ending point. In most cases, you would need a return ticket for the Grütschalp cable car and a one-way ticket for the mountain train back from Mürren. Probably around CHF 20-24/adult.
Tell the ticket office what you plan to do and they'll sell you the correct ticket.
