The Pilatus rope park offers ten different courses for climbers of all levels, with interesting obstacles and exciting zip lines and free fall jumps.

Even smaller kids can join in the fun with the PILU Rope Park, which has easier courses and an always-on safety harness.

For more fun, you can also ride the summer toboggan and forest flyer, which are both next to the ropes park. There's also a restaurant and picnic area here.

Many people combine the rope park with a visit to the Pilatus Kulm mountain viewpoint. In this case, we suggest doing the rope park first thing in the morning to avoid crowds. Then ride up to Pilatus and enjoy the activities at the top.

Open: early May through third weekend of October. See current opening times.

How to get there

The Pilatus Seilpark is located at the Fräkmüntegg gondola stop. You can ride here directly by catching the gondola in Kriens - Schlossweg 1, 6010 Kriens.

If you are doing the Pilatus Golden Round Trip, clockwise starting with the boat trip, you could visit the rope park on your way down the mountain via the cable car.

Tickets

For 3 hours in the ropes park, it costs CHF 30/adult, CHF 22/kids age 8-15. Small discounts for family packages. Small kids can use the PILU Ropes Park for CHF 12/1 hour.

The fee includes your helmet, harness, and instructions.

The fee does not include your gondola ticket to reach the ropes park. This costs varies depending on what you are doing on the mountain.

See Pilatus Website for current prices.
