Cinque Torri is another top hike in Dolomites. And no wonder. It is also a paradise for climbers. On your trip you are likely to see many of them trying to reach the peaks.

Hike description There are multiple ways how you can reach Cinque Torri. It is possible to get right under the peaks by car (map. Then you only need to walk for 15 minutes and you're there. But there's no fun in that...

Another option is hiking from Passo Giau via Averau.

We chose hiking trail starting at Passo Falzarego. You can also camp there at the parking lot with the best views! This path is unique because it also passes Lago Limides. It's a beautiful alpine lake famous for its reflections. From Lago Limides you can continue to Averau. The path leads right under majestic peaks. You can get amazing views of Passo Giau from this section. It will take you around 3.5 hours to get to Cinque Torri.

From Averau it only takes a few more minutes to get to Cinque Torri. Definitely take a path that will take you around the majestic "Five towers". To get back to Passo Falzarego you can follow a different path making it a circular round hike. You need to go back up the hill a bit and on the right side you will see a hiking trail goind down. Just follow it and you'll get to the parking lot at Passo Falzarego in 1.5 hour.

Parking

  • right next to Cinque Torri (if you skip the hike) - map

  • at Passo Falzarego (if you hike through Lago Limides) - map
