Grünten, also known as 'The Watcher of the Allgäu', is a mountain located in Bavaria, Germany. With its peak reaching an altitude of 1,738 m (5,702 ft) and a 611 m (2,005 ft) prominence, it is one of the most prominent mountains in the Allgäu Alps. On top of the mountain lies a Gebirgsjäger monument honoring German mountain troopers killed during World War One, along with a radio tower of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation which was formerly open to the public via cable car transportation until 2014. For anyone looking for a sense of adventure or a fun-filled outdoor adventure, Grünten is definitely worth checking out!
