La Locanda di Zio Enzo on Viale della Resistenza in Aulla is mostly about fresh fish, cooked in a variety of ways. The orata in guazzetto is cooked in a broth with tomatoes and spices--one of our recent favorites.

The house wine is fine, priced at 2 euro for a quarter of a liter, a little more than a glass.

Don't ignore the dessert list; the house made Tartufi di Zio Enzo will hit the spot on a warm day. Licorizia, licorice, was our favorite.

We paid about 35 euro a person with appetizer, fish, house wine (1/4) coffee and a shared Tartufo.
