Location and Accessibility:

▪️Haifoss is located in the southern part of Iceland's Highlands, about 81 miles from Reykjavik. Accessing Haifoss can be challenging due to the rugged terrain and unpaved roads.

▪️ Consider renting a 4x4 vehicle, as some roads may require high clearance.

Best Time to Visit:

▪️The best time to visit Haifoss is during the summer months (end of May to August) when the weather is milder and the roads are more accessible.

How to reach the viewpoint:

▪️ From the parking to the viewpoint, there are about 5 minutes.

Time necessary:

▪️You need about 30 minutes to enjoy the waterfall

ℹ️ Other information

▪️It is possible to hike to the bottom of the waterfall. In case you decide to hike down the valley you should add another hour or 2.
