The Kenkävero is a historical and cultural attraction in Mikkeli right by the 5-road on the shore of Lake Saimaa! It is the largest and most beautiful vicarage in the country, dating back to the 18th century.

Kenkävero has a restaurant, various nice shops, a beach cafe, a beautiful garden, a museum, Santa’s cottage, a children’s workshop and there are also chickens and sheep in the yard in the summer time. Kenkävero also has a lot of different events throughout the year. So even tho the nice summer day would be the best day to visit in here, Kenkävero is open mostly throught the hole year. In nice summer days there are a lot of happy people and the most to see and experience. I love to buy all kinds of handmade products from small entrepreneurs, and there are really plenty of them here!
