When I first had breakfast at Pounta, I immediately felt an unexplainable sense of warmth and comfort.

Perhaps it was the lovely setting, next to the plants and flowers, a simple but beautiful rustic set up that seemed like it was like that all along and nobody changed it. Perhaps it was the fact that it's run by the Giuris family and you get to (over)hear their conversations and interactions in the kitchen. Makes you feel a lot like at home. Or, it could have been the incredible, organic food that I got to taste.

The breakfast at Pounta really feels like being at grandma's. And grandma will always take care of you, like nobody else does.
Tips: try the cake-yogurt combo, it's out of this world. And their own dakos dishes. And the crepes. Oh, the crepes.
