Dafnoudi & Emblisi, two gems in the Kefalonian North

These are the two gems of the Kefalonian North: the beaches of Dafnoudi and Emblisi. They are located close to each other and thus easy to see on the same day.

They book look towards the neighbouring island of Ithaca and they usually have super clear, calm waters. For the Dafnoudi, you will probably need to park your car up and do a bit of walking down via the designated path.

Also, there is a cool and short hiking trail from where you park the car at Dafnoudi that leads to a spot where you can see a WWII German battery. Kind of upsetting to see, but also quite interesting. Plus, the view from up there is simply stunning!
