Rakotzbrücke Devil's Bridge is an amazing 19th-century structure located within Germany's Kromlauer Park. It was commissioned by a knight of the local town who wanted to create a bridge that when reflected in the still water of the Rakotzsee beneath it, would form a perfect circle. This unique design feature elevates it above other bridges as its thin arch seamlessly finishes the circle giving it a truly spectacular appearance. Interestingly, locals refer to the bridge as a "devil's bridge," owing to the colloquialism that such bridges were made with either supernatural help or extreme miraculous precision. Visitors are welcome to admire, but crossing the aging relic is prohibited in order to preserve it.
