The Sidelen-Hütte is nestled in the Urian mountain range of Realp, and its prime location provides stunning views of granite giants, rock faces and glaciers. Whether you're looking to escape from it all or take on the furka pass, there's something for everyone at the Sidelen-Hütte.

It's shaped as a triangle and offers great view to Sidelen Glacier.

HIKE DETAILS: Start: Sidelenbach bus stop on the Furkapass. The climb leads north on a beautiful but moderate hiking trail. After hiking 2,5km in about 1-1,5 hours with 420 meters of elevation gain you reach the mountain hut. Enjoy the scenery and hike down to the alpine lake just below the hut.

TIP: you can take the same way back down or follow the sign from the hut towards Furkapass, Hotel Furkablick bus stop. The entire trail will be approximately 5 km long and I can guarantee you won't be disappointed by the views.
