Italida (Platia Pounda): Probably the most popular and crowded beach in Koufonissia. The waters are unbelievably beautiful, but there’s very little to almost no shade, so make sure you are carrying a tent or an umbrella with you if you are planning to sit there. It’s long and spacious, so it will hardly feel crowded and nudism is very often practiced. The name “Italida” literally translates to “Italian woman” and refers to the owner of the property close to the beach..a woman from Italy! One thing you will definitely notice in Koufonissia: Italians love it!
