Brúarfoss waterfall in Iceland is known for its stunningly blue water, fed by the Brúará River from Langjökull glacier.
Location: Brúarfoss is located not far from the popular Golden Circle route. It's situated between Þingvellir National Park and Geysir.
Accessibility: Visitors have the option to either hike a 7 km trail or park at a new parking lot just a 5-minute walk away. The hike offers views of smaller waterfalls along the way, making it a nice addition to a Golden Circle tour. While some may find the trek worth it for the unique color of Brúarfoss, others may prefer to skip it for more time-efficient activities in Iceland.
Best Time to Visit: Brúarfoss can be visited year-round.
