Svartifoss, also known as the Black Falls, is a popular waterfall in Iceland surrounded by stunning hexagonal basalt columns that give it a unique and mystical vibe.

๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป: Svartifoss is situated in Skaftafell, a region within Vatnajรถkull National Park known for its dramatic landscapes and glacier views

๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด: you can park at the Skaftafell visitor center. The parking is not free.

๐——๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ: 2 miles roundtrip

๐—ง๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฒ ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜†: you will need at least 3 hours taking into consideration the hiking time and the time spent at the waterfall
