Message from Dana R.

Seyðisfjarðarkirkja, also known as the Blue Church, is a charming and iconic landmark in Seyðisfjörður, Iceland. Its distinctive blue color and unique building style make it a popular spot for tourists, especially since the street leading up to it is painted in rainbow colors.

Originally located at Dvergasteinn farm, this church has a fascinating history of being moved and rebuilt before settling in its current location in the heart of Seyðisfjörður.

Visitors can explore this historic church during the summer months and admire its beautiful pipe organ, which replaced the original lost in a fire in 1989.
