Pirunkurun ponnistus trail takes you to the Kesänkitunturi fell and around it. I love this place and trail.

Park your car in the Kesänkijärvi lake parking lot and take a hike around Kesänkitunturi. You can see the trail from Outdoor Active (link). The trail is 8km and in the middle of it is Tahkokuru Lapp hut, where you can eat your lunch by a fire.

You can walk the trail in either direction, but it’s worth noting that if you go counterclockwise like in Outdoor Active, you’ll climb a very steep and loose-stone ravine up. Going the other way on the same trail, you’ll descend the same ravine. So, you can decide which challenge you take. Up. Or down?
