The longest sled hill/toboggan run in Finland is located in Saariselkä. The descent begins from the top of Kaunispää, and you can slide down to 2-3 different places. The lengths of the hills are approximately 1.3 to 1.8 kilometers. This is a super fun activity that I highly recommend!

You can purchase an Aurora Tobogganing -ticket, which includes a sled, helmet, and a 2-hour lift pass for multiple rides down the hill.

You can bring your own sled and treat the uphill climb as a workout by walking alongside the sled run back up (though it can be quite strenuous—I managed to climb it twice myself, and ascending on foot takes about 20-30 minutes). However, I recommend buying a dedicated lift pass for sledding and enjoying multiple descents.

The sled hill is open around the same time as the ski slopes
