Message from Thrainn Kolbeinsson

A lesser known cabin, located on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, that used to serve as a shelter for those going over the pass in the winter time. I guess it still serves the same purpose but with better roads it's rarely used as such. Sometimes it's open so feel free to go inside and have a look if it is. It's right by the road with a little spot for parking - enjoy!

But remember, no pooping!

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: A friendly old A-frame in Snæfellsnes peninsula.

  • Best season: Any.

  • Best time of day: Any, but it will be in the shade when the sun is super low.

  • Nice to know: Sometimes it's open.
